Know your RVUs before payroll does.
wRVU Tracker is a free RVU tracker, wRVU calculator, and CPT code lookup for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and residents paid on work RVUs. Log a shift in seconds, see your pace toward your wRVU target, and check what your next paycheck should be. Every entry is priced with the official CMS Physician Fee Schedule for its date of service (2026 is current).
The RVU calculator and CPT lookup are free with no account. A free account logs up to 100 procedures with one job and one active target, forever, no card needed. Pro ($14.99 per month or $119 per year) adds unlimited logging, multiple jobs and targets, and personalized benchmarks. No patient information is ever needed or stored.
Track your productivity
- Fast shift logging. Favorites, recent codes, and batch entry let you log a full shift of encounters at once, with modifiers, quantity, date of service, and job on each entry.
- Target pacing. Set weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly wRVU targets and see whether you are ahead or behind, how many wRVUs per day you need, and your projected finish.
- Analytics and trends. Charts of your wRVUs over time and the codes you use most.
- Weekly summary email. An optional weekly recap of your wRVUs and pace.
Check your pay
- Paycheck projection. Estimate what your next paycheck should be and project pacing toward bonus thresholds from your logged wRVUs.
- Every common compensation model. Dollar-per-wRVU productivity, salary plus a productivity threshold, pay-per-shift, lump-sum entries, or tracking only.
- Multiple jobs. Track several employers or sites with their own compensation model, rate history, office or facility setting, and CMS year (2020 to 2026).
- Employer reconciliation. Compare your own logged totals against employer-reported RVUs to catch missing charges.
Look up any code
- CPT and HCPCS lookup. About 7,600 codes per year, with work, practice expense, malpractice, and total RVUs, plus estimated Medicare payment, for every CMS year from 2020 to 2026.
- Facility vs non-facility. Office (non-facility) and facility practice expense RVUs side by side.
- Modifiers. CPT and HCPCS modifiers such as 26, TC, 50, 51, 52, 53, 59, 62, 76 to 82, and XE/XP/XS/XU with their RVU multipliers.
- Code comparisons and year-over-year changes. Compare codes side by side and see how wRVUs changed between fee schedule years.
- Most common codes. The most frequently billed CPT codes by category and specialty.
Benchmark and reference
- Specialty benchmarks. 25th, 50th, 75th, and 90th percentile wRVU benchmarks for more than 90 specialties, with specialty hubs and specialty RVU calculators.
- GPCI by state. Geographic Practice Cost Index values for every state and Medicare locality.
- Your data, portable. CSV export of your full history at any time, plus CSV import on Pro.
- Works everywhere. Any browser on phone, tablet, or desktop, and it can be added to your phone home screen to open like an app.
Built on official CMS data
Every RVU value comes directly from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Physician Fee Schedule, updated each year, including work RVU, practice expense RVU, malpractice RVU, and the conversion factor. Logged wRVUs use national values; GPCI values are published as reference guides only and are never applied to your logged wRVUs or earnings estimates.
