Earnings and Compensation
See estimated revenue based on your wRVU output and compensation model.
Setting your dollar-per-wRVU rate
In Settings under Profile, you can enter your dollar-per-wRVU conversion rate — the dollar amount you earn for each work RVU. This is typically in your employment contract (common values range from $40 to $80+). Once set, earnings estimates appear throughout the app.
Compensation models
The app supports four models. "Productivity" means your pay is based entirely on your wRVU output. "Salary + Bonus" means you have a base salary with bonus pay tied to wRVUs above a threshold. "Pay-per-shift" covers locums and per-diem work (Pro). "RVU-Only Tracking" means you want to track wRVUs without earnings estimates. Choose the one that matches your contract.
Where earnings appear
Once set, you'll see earnings on your Dashboard stats, on the Analytics page, in your weekly email digest, and in target progress cards. All earnings are estimates based on your rate — they don't account for overhead, taxes, or contract nuances. Think of them as a useful approximation, not a paycheck prediction.
Rate history
If your rate changes (for example, during contract renegotiation), you can add rate history entries in Settings. The app uses the correct rate for each time period, so your historical earnings estimates stay accurate even after a rate change.
